Omega Male and other ranks in the hierarchy

I know about alpha male and beta male. But, when I was reading reviews of Black Wings in Amazon, one reviewer said the male lead is too omega for her taste. This is he first time I have heard of omega male. Are there gamma and delta male as well?

I look up the definition, but, found several different definition.

omega male
The polar opposite of the Alpha Male. Omega Males can have friends and close acquaintances but prefer to accomplish things on their own without the help of a group. Omega Males generally don't belong to any cliques and have no desire to be the leader or most outstanding of said clique. Omega Males have relations with people from all groups and carry a resourcefulness and cunning (sometimes strength) to get a job done with their own skill. This being said, an omega male can have great pride without it manifesting as "ego." (There are always exceptions.

Then there are the omega males – generally the true nice guys... but also what we call ‘losers’ Generally avoided, and the next day hardly anyone remembers they were even there. The guy who is almost guaranteed not to have sex that night, even if a women by luck takes a fancy to him, because his model of the world isn't such that he can take a girl home and just have sex with her if he so chooses.

And yet another addition to this group of expressions is the term omega male, a chap identified by his lack of enthusiasm for the conventional idea that men always aspire to being the most dominant influence in the home or workplace.

Omega (usually rendered ω-male) is an antonym used to refer to the lowest caste of the hierarchical society. An omega is subordinated to all others in the community. The omega(s) might be used as scapegoats and are commonly the last allowed to eat.[3]

Omega Males are "loners" and "individualists". These are rare/anomalous, perhaps "artistic" or "eccentric" types of males. They can act as both insider/outsider, but usually outsiders. Foreign Spies are good examples of Omega Males or what an Omega Male would do. Men who go off and "live in the woods alone" are also good examples of Omega Males. Omega Males either want, or do not want, their solitude. Some (or most) are excluded by males existing within any system. But the distinguishing marker between Omega Male and Delta Male is that an Omega male potentially is "wanted" or has practical skills necessary to a society. Or perhaps the Omega Males simply "do not want to become a part of society X or Y". Perhaps these are 'Idealist' types.

Wow, there are delta and gamma males and more.
